AAA
 
Cardinals 7  Giants 0
 
The Cardinals took home their first victory of the season thanks to a collective shutout thrown by Nile Meleis, Bennet Eyler, Tommy McNamara, and Zeke Kinsey. In addition to the great strike throwing there was solid play behind the plate as well as a stout defense in the field. On offense, the bulk of their runs came in the first inning as they rallied together for five runs. Adam James and Bradford McFerran were able to quell the scoring with excellent pitching for the Giants.
 
Rays 4 Reds 4
 
Parity has been the theme this year in AAA as the Rays and Reds battled to a 4-4  tie.   The Rays', Conor Clark led the way offensively going two for two and James Canepa struck out five of six batters faced. For the Reds, Chase Hall pitched an outstanding fifth inning to preserve the tie.
 
Giants 3 Rays 0
 
Giant's slugger, Grayson MacLean, kick-started a three run inning in the third inning with a monster double to center field.  Porter Kenyon pitched two scoreless, hitless innings for the Rays to start the game before Giant's breakout third inning.
 
Grays 2 Rangers 2
 
The Grays and Rangers battled to an exciting 2-2 tie on Saturday at Friends Field.
 
The Grays got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Dominic Palmer tripled on a deep drive to center field, and Bode Fiedler singled to right field, each scoring one run. The Grays pulled off a highlight reel double play by Casper Cashen and Graham McPadden.
 
The Rangers tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a double by Will Turkovich, and a single by Xander Mayfield.
 
The Grays saw solid pitching from Dalton Miyasato, Leo Chu, Casper Cashen, Graham McPadden, Dominic Palmer and Tristan Ryan.
 
The Rangers relied on pitching from John Aoki, John Beacock, Finn Cornelius, and Will Turkovich.
 

Minors

 
Giants 11 Marlins 1
 
The Giants jumped out to an early lead and were able to stay ahead with strong pitching performances from Doyle Kazul (five strikeouts) and Carter Crosswell (six strikeouts).
 
Raidan Fernandez had a solid pitching performance for the Marlins. Overall, the Marlins demonstrated patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Archie Cope stole two bases. 
 
Parker Caselli led the way offensively for the Giants with two hits highlighted by a home run in addition to an infield single.  Doc Davis collected a double and single, on two deep drives to the outfield.  Luca Nelson and Carter Crosswell both notched infield singles.
 
Pirates 9 Tigers  5
 
The Pirates powered their way to a victory over a very good Tigers team at Boyle Park on Tuesday.   Offensively the Pirates were led by Wyatt Burke and George Ellis each with two hits.  Knight Bohman and Otto Fackler also added in with one hit each.  Defensively the Pirates had two clutch outfield catches, one by Elijah Boley on a ball hit to deep centerfield and Burke Hall had a nice grab to close out the game.  
 
For the Tigers, Preston Rhodes led the way with two innings pitched and two hits. Jenson Rhodes executed an RBI bunt and demonstrated nifty glove work by catching a hard hit line drive while playing shortstop.
 
Padres 8 Mariners 4
 
The Padres pulled off a comeback win overcoming an early 4-0 deficit  to take home the win in a well played game against the Mariners. 
 
Max Chan shined for the Mariners, with two shutout innings on the mound, a couple walks at the plate and four steals. Liam Pironne added a single that drove in two for the visiting Mariners, and Wales Davison struck out the side in his one inning of relief.  
 
The Padres comeback was led by Nico Bonistalli who went three for three, and a big three RBI single from Oliver Lynch.  Alex Sawyer closed out the close game in the sixth with a scoreless inning and made a couple nice plays in the field to help his own cause. 
 
Pirates 10 Padres 0
 
The Pirates relied on a complete team effort to get past the Padres today.  The Pirates had solid pitching from Ian Boley, Otto Fackler, Alex Supple and Knight Bohman and were backed up by consistent defensive play throughout the infield.  Offensively the Burke brothers Wyatt and Dylan contributed  four of the nine Pirates hits in the game.  
 
Nicole Bonistalli threw two strong innings to start for the Padres, and Zack Rich shined defensively in the outfield. 
 
Mariners 12, Giants 1

Wales Davison led the Mariners with four RBIs on two hits. Henry Cheen pitched two scoreless innings with four strikeouts and added an RBI single.

For the Giants, Danny Kievman shined defensively making a fantastic sliding catch in the outfield. George Christodoulo added a single and multiple stolen bases
 
Tigers 12 vs Marlins 1
 
Truett Claudet Sanders took to the mound in his little league pitching debut striking out one and only giving up one hit as the Tigers offensive proved too much for the Marlins.  Truett also got his first RBI of the season. Jenson Rhodes made his season pitching debut with two strikeouts and didn’t give up a hit. He also had a three RBI double.  Catcher, Dawes Foley shined defensively throwing out a baserunner attempting to steal second base.
 
Eben Sykes led the way offensively for the Marlins with one hit.
 
 

Majors

 
Brewers 5 Giants 1
 
The Brew Crew had seven hits on the day with Alex Melies leading the way going two for three with two runs batted in.  The offensive attack was spread throughout the lineup with Jake Hollander, Cody Chittenden, Milo Davies, Wyatt Martin and Sebi Fals contributing one hit each. 
 
The  Brewers saw stellar pitching with Ryan Lynch leading the way with two shutout innings and five strikeouts,   Ezra Pope-Meyer pitched an inning of one run ball and Cody Chittenden recorded the save giving up zero runs. But the pitcher of the day was Alex Meleis who struck out all six batters he faced while throwing twenty strikes of his twenty four pitches for strikes.
 
The Giants had three hits on the day led by Lyle Feldman who went one for three with a run batted in.   Lucas Parrett and Archie Byrne each contributed a hit of their own. 
 
Giants pitchers were led by Wyatt Droege who pitched a shutout inning and Lyle Feldman who only gave up one run in two innings pitched.  Tyler Feduska and Lucas Parrett also contributed with solid outings on the mound. 
 
 
Mill Valley Phillies 12     Ross Valley Padres     11                  
 
In a thrilling finish to a wild game, with two outs and the score tied in the bottom of the 6th inning, Jack Devlin stole home on a wild pitch to notch the winning run and give the Phillies a 12 to 11 victory over the Ross Valley Padres at Boyle Park.
 
Phillies pitching was strong early, with Matthew Cao striking out five over the first two innings.  Jordan Miller also had a standout pitching performance, with the strikeouts in a one-two-three inning.
 
The Phillies recorded eleven hits in the game.  Cao (three hits) had a big day.  Jasper Persson, Finley Smith, and Jude Willard each had two hits.  Stone Strader had two runs batted in.  Jack Devlin led the Phillies with three runs scored.
 
Sea Lions 5 Yankees 0
 
The Sea Lions beat the Yankees 5-0 last Thursday night at Boyle Park. The Yankees threatened in the first with two solid hits from Max Vreede and Jonas Jackson then loading the bases.  But the Sea Lions were able to get out of the jam. The Sea Lions were led by Ricky Ames who went three for three and Owen Benford who drove in three runs with a single in the 3rd inning to open the game up. Knox Medow and Liam Koss closed out the game from the mound for the Sea Lions. 
 
Yankees 2 Brewers 1
 
The Yankees beat the Brewers last Saturday, 2-1. For the Yankees, Charlie McIntosh led the way offensively with a run batted in as well as defensively with a double play from the pitcher position. 
 
The Brewers were led offensively by Liam Mechler who went two for two at the plate.
 
Sea Lions 8 Red Sox 4
 
In a back and forth exciting game that included multiple lead changes, the Sea Lions beat the Red Sox 8-4. The Red Sox were led by Henry Ellis, who had two strong innings on the mound as well as an run batted in at the plate, and Cooper Maddex who had two runs batted in. 
 
For the Sea Lions, Liam Koss, who displayed incredible toughness after taking a fastball in the forearm in the first at bat of the game, rebounded impressively ending up with with two hits and two runs batted in. 
 
Giants 5 Phillies 3
 
The Giants used solid pitching and defense to notch their first victory of the season.  Archie Byrne got things off to a good start with two scoreless innings pitched and Lucas Parrett closed it out with a scoreless inning in the sixth.  The Giants were led by Archie and Teddy Holbrook at the plate.
 
For the Phillies, Stone Strader notched a two run single in the fifth inning and Jasper Persson shined on the mound striking out four on the day.
